Alexis Robert - Softwares
On my spare time, I make some strange softwares, there is some of these :
- cluder : Little round robin clustering system for dispatching various tasks (like encoding a bunch of files)
- tagclass is a automatic media file organizer. It uses tags to move your music files in pretty directories. You can add media types very easily, tagclass is very modular.
- R scripts are some useful R scripts (currently high-school oriented), like a function who finds the equivalence point of a acido-basic titration and plots the corresponding graph.
- sharefolder is a very useful lightweight webserver in Python. You just need to launch it to share the current directory with HTTP. It makes files transfer so much easier. Runs on Windows/Linux/OSX.
- lastwm is an Audioscrobbler plugin for WMP/Windows Mobile 5, written in PythonCE. Mostly written in 1 hour during a lunch break.
- jabmsgbot is a XMPP bot which can send notifications to groups or users from a XMLRPC source
- solarsystem is a solar system simulator in VPython.
- cyclov2 is a bunch of scripts which fetchs stations position from Velib’s API (in lattitude/longitude) and apply it a XSL stylesheet to convert it to CSV. Next, a Perl script converts the CSV file to OV2 (Tomtom’s POI format).
- sword2sqlite converts Sword’s bibles in sqlite, so you can have a bible inside a sqlite database.
- metronome is a metronome for WinCE (written in C# for CF.NET2.0)
- apt-chroot (in Python) and gch (go chroot, in C) makes the sysadmin’s life who manages a lot of chroots (or various jails) a lot easier
- testmots is a Java applet to help student studying vocabulary.
- fortunesphp is a little PHP app which mimics bash.org
- bouhwiki is a very lightweight wiki in webpy (Python)
